Volunteers play a vital role in the continuing care and support of young people by contributing in areas such as;
Provide enhanced housing support to assist in the development of living skills by role modelling appropriate behaviour in everyday conditions in a shared house environment.
Provide enhanced support and one on one long term friendship to a young person strengthening self-worth, trust and relationships
Child Play Supervisors;
Child Play Supervisors engage in a range of child friendly, age appropriate activities with children while their parents attend appointments, meet with Support Workers or participate in workshops attached to various FAN Programs.
Volunteers are able to support staff in running various Life Skills Workshops that are offered at Family Access Network (FAN) throughout the year. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Volunteer at FAN, please call the office on 9890 2673.
