Congratulations to our award recipients, Stacey Horsfall-Rodda and Vix Petrie.
On Wednesday 29 October, Family Access Network (FAN) welcomed staff, supporters, and community members to our 44th Annual General Meeting. It was an inspiring afternoon of reflection, celebration, and connection, as we looked back on a year of dedication to supporting young people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Chair, Diane Godfrey, for leading the proceedings, and to Annerliegh Pappos and Michelle Thompson for presenting the Treasurer and CEO reports. Their insights highlighted FAN’s ongoing commitment to creating safe spaces and opportunities for young people to thrive.
A highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of the 2025 FAN Awards, celebrating the remarkable achievements of young people and the lasting contributions of those who have shaped FAN’s history:
Rhys Fox Achievement Award: Vix Petrie and Andrei
Stephen B McLoghlin Encouragement Award:
Stacey Horsfall-Rodda
Sue Carlile Community Spirit Award:
Zephyr (accepted by Mich Kiriama on their behalf)
Congratulations to all recipients—your courage, determination, and community spirit inspire us every day.
We also welcomed the 2025–2026 Board of Governance, acknowledging both outgoing and continuing members for their invaluable leadership and dedication.
Finally, our sincere thanks go to our staff, volunteers, partners, donors, and supporters. It is through your ongoing commitment that FAN can continue to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
