MP Gabriel Ng at the FAN office, discussing housing issues with CEO Michelle Thompson and Pride in Place Service Navigator Owen Vickery.

On 2 October, Family Access Network (FAN) was pleased to welcome Gabriel Ng, Member for Menzies, to our office to learn more about our work supporting young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

We had a great conversation about the housing crisis, the challenges young people — particularly queer young people — are facing, and the hopes and possibilities that drive our work at FAN.

Gabriel expressed a genuine interest in staying connected and exploring how his office might support FAN’s ongoing advocacy and community efforts. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our insights and look forward to continuing the conversation to create better outcomes for young people in our community.
