Pride in Place is safe, inclusive housing support for LGBTQIA+ young people

Pride in Place is a statewide housing and homelessness support program for LGBTQIA+ young people aged 15 to 25 who
are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

FAN is proud to deliver this program as part of a wider consortium alongside Drummond Street Services (Queerspace), VincentCare, and Uniting.

What does Pride in Place offer?

Through Pride in Place, FAN provides access to a dedicated LGBTQIA+ Service Navigator who offers:
  • Case management
  • Help finding safe, stable housing
  • Connection to health, mental health and community supports
  • Tailored support that respects each young person’s identity, experiences, and goals

Who can access the program?

You can access Pride in Place if you:
  • Are aged between 15 and 25
  • Identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community
  • Are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of it
  • Live anywhere in Victoria
Although FAN is based in Melbourne’s Outer Eastern region, we welcome referrals from across the state.
