Counselling & Family Mediation Program
The Homeless Support Services has a new addition to the suite of services, and in partnership with Reach Out for Kids (ROK – Lead Agency) and UnitingCare East Burwood Centre (UCEBC) FAN is providing the youth counselling and family mediation component within the Whitehorse Counselling Services Alliance (WCSA) funded by the City of Whitehorse. An onsite counsellor is available to assist with individual counselling session, early intervention programs and workshops for young children, young people and families to develop skills and strategies to resolve and prevent personal difficulties from reaching crisis point. This is an exciting new direction and consistent with FAN Portfolio priorities in response to client identified needs.
